Fall break is always strange to me... Man I am tired.  It is week 3 of school and I am wiped out...  This is kind of the nature of campus ministry.  Summer is pretty laid back and you get to hang out with friends and travel while working.  And then all of a sudden, you have to really kill yourself at the beginning of school to get everything done and meet a ton of new people.  It is great, it is just exhausting!  I feel like I need a vacation and I just had one... I am learning that rest is something I am not very good at...

Wow... I am overwhelmed, but in a good way!  I am overwhelmed with the amount of people at MTSU when I go to campus.  It took me 1/2 hour to find a parking spot on day one, which was not cool.  I am overwhelmed at the new people who came to large group the other night.  They are great and fun and I am super excited about getting to know them!  I am overwhelmed at how great our leadership students are doing by meeting new people and taking responsibilities for things that I forget and they want to do.  Most...

Hebrews 13:9 says, "... for it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace."  This is the way I feel after the leadership retreat.  We just got back from three days in Smithville, TN praying, planning, and preparing for the new school year.  It was great to have so many of the leadership team there and enjoy laughing a lot, praying a lot, planning, and just being together.  I am really looking forward to this year and pray that our hearts will be strengthened by the grace of Jesus.  I pray that people will hear about Jesus' great love...
